Rating Anomaly Part 3

On Friday, Moody’s upgraded Bolivia from B1 to Ba3.  Two weeks ago, the agency affirmed the rating of Spain at 3 notches higher (Baa3).  Bolivia’s 10 year bonds trade at a yield of 4.8%.  Spain’s 10 year trade at 5.5%.

Only 3 years ago Spain had a Aaa credit rating from Moody’s.
